Rankings can't be bought. YardGrade scores each company with a Bayesian-adjusted Google rating, which weighs review volume so a 5.0 on three reviews does not outrank a 4.8 on three hundred. In Toronto, 60% of rated driveway paving contractors clear 4.8★, so ranking gaps are meaningful. Positions update as new review data lands. Read our full methodology.

How do I choose a good driveway paving contractor in Toronto?

When is the best time to book driveway paving in Toronto?

The driveway paving season runs May–Oct. Reputable Toronto companies book several weeks ahead in peak months, so request quotes early; shoulder-season bookings often win better pricing.

Is sales tax included in driveway paving quotes in Toronto?

Usually not. Ontario charges 13% HST on home-improvement services, and most posted prices exclude it, so add it before comparing two quotes. Ask each contractor to state the total both before and after tax, and get it in writing.

Can companies pay to rank higher on YardGrade?

No. Rankings come from a Bayesian-adjusted Google rating plus verification boosts for a website, phone and photos, never payment. In Toronto, 60% of rated driveway paving contractors clear 4.8★, so small ranking gaps are meaningful. Full details are on our methodology page.
