We have not put a dollar figure on that here: YardGrade’s own rule is that market pricing carries a named source, and we do not have one for those subscriptions. YardGrade works the other way. Receiving job requests is free, you quote from an anonymized brief, no name, email or phone, and the homeowner’s contact details go to just one pro, the one they pick. Fewer, better-matched jobs beat a flood of paid enquiries you never won.

How do job requests reach me?

When a homeowner near you requests a service you offer, we match the job to you and up to 2 other pros in your category and area, then email you an anonymized brief: the service, area, property type, timeline and project description, but not the homeowner’s name, phone or email. The homeowner agreed to this on our form when they submitted. You send back a quote, there is no dashboard to babysit. If the homeowner picks your quote, we introduce you and you receive their contact details.

Can I get listed for free?

Yes. Every eligible business in a city we publish already gets a free basic profile, ranked purely by its verified Google reviews, alongside 2,288 others across 14 categories. Opting in for job requests is free too, and keeps your details accurate so homeowners see the right business.

Does anything I pay for change my ranking?

Never. Nothing you pay for has any effect on where you rank. YardGrade positions come only from a published formula built on verified Google reviews plus verification checks. What does it cost to join?

Nothing. Opting in is free, receiving job requests is free, and during launch there is no charge even when a homeowner picks you. We're building the channel and gathering real response data first. If we introduce pricing later, we'll agree it with founding pros before anything is billed, and we'll always tell you first.

How does this work for me?

When we match a job to you, we email you an anonymized brief: the service, area, property type, timeline and project description, but not the homeowner's name, phone or email. Up to 3 matched pros, including you, can send back a quote. If the homeowner picks yours, we introduce you and you get their contact details. Everything is free during launch.

Is the customer really mine if I'm picked?

Yes. Up to 3 matched pros can quote on an anonymized brief, but only the one the homeowner picks gets introduced and receives their contact details. That introduction is never sold to anyone else, so it isn't the same job sold to several pros at once.

What if a homeowner who picked me is unreachable?

If a homeowner who chose you cannot be reached at both phone and email within 5 business days, or the request was a duplicate, fraudulent, or the wrong job type or area, we credit it. We do not credit a homeowner who chose you, spoke with you, and hired someone else. That is a lost sale, not a bad introduction.

Which areas and categories can I get requests in?

You choose. Pick the categories you quote and tell us which of the areas we cover you serve. YardGrade publishes Greater Toronto Area and Metro Vancouver today, down to the neighbourhood, borough and suburb. We only send you requests that match. Coverage tracks our July 2026 dataset and keeps growing.

Can I pay to rank higher on YardGrade?

No, and that is the point. Rankings come only from verified Google reviews plus verification checks, using a published formula. Nothing you pay for moves your rank. Keeping money and rankings apart is what makes homeowners trust the list, which is what makes an introduction worth having.
